What data we process
When you use the Leaseturn evaluation tool, you submit lease records containing:
- Current monthly rent
- Proposed rent increase
- Resident tenure in months
- Unit type (e.g. “1BR”, “Studio”)
- Lease expiry date
- Optional: estimated vacancy days and turn cost
We do not ask for and do not process resident names, contact information, demographic data, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or any other personally identifying information.
How data is handled
All computation is transient and in-memory. Lease data you submit is:
- Received by our API endpoint
- Processed in the server's memory to compute the break-even arithmetic and ranking
- Returned as the API response
- Immediately discarded — no data is written to a database, file, log, or external service
Uploaded CSV files are read into memory, parsed, and discarded. No copies are retained on the server.
Data retention
We do not retain any lease data after the API response is sent. There is no database, no storage layer, and no caching of your submitted information. If you reload the page, your data is gone.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics services, or any form of persistent identifier. No data is collected about your browsing behaviour.
Third-party services
This site uses Google Fonts for typeface rendering. When you load a page, your browser may request font files from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy governs that data transfer. No other third-party services are used.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any data you submit. Since no data persists beyond the API request, there is nothing to share.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. No separate notification will be sent.
